2nd time I've used Wakaa! Works flawlessly, easy to install.

2015 X1. Installation was surprisingly easy and the unit works BEAUTIFULLY. I wish that I could unlock it for additional functionality, but it runs and looks great. Inititally I was struggling to get the wireless Android Auto to work, but once you plug it in, it sets everything up and retains the settings. Now I start my car and it wirelessly connects and runs perfectly. Best money spent on my car.

I recently purchased the Wakaa 10.25" Wireless CarPlay Android Auto for my BMW X1 and I must say, I am extremely impressed with the product. Firstly, I would like to commend the seller for their prompt delivery service. Despite my initial concerns about shipping times, the product arrived at my doorstep, which was a pleasant surprise.

This was a gift for my husband and he is over the moon happy about it!

My X1 didn't come with any screen at all, so fitting in the Wakaa really turned the cockpit into something that feels modern. Perfect fit, plug an plug and both the wired Carplay and Android Auto work perfectly. I also purchased a trunk handle to install with the monitor and the fit is OEM; it even has the lines to guide you as you turn the steering wheel.

I'm not a fan of the overall color schemes as they're a bit too bright, and wish there were other skins you can use instead to make it more subtle, but it's a huge improvement over nothing at all.

I've done other installs so I'm familiar with the process, and all in with the aftermarket camera and screen took about 1.5 hours. Just the screen itself can be installed in 30-45 min. Highly recommend for the price; I even purchased a second for my other BMW (F30).
